Amrita Telematics Platform is a reliable, extensible, scalable and pluggable (hardware and software) platform for Telematics Applications.

Amrita Telematics Platform

Its tiered Messaging System and tiered Multimedia Delivery system run on an architecture based upon Enterprise Service Bus and Universal Middleware technology. The platform supports off-the-shelf devices like webcams, IP Phones etc.

This enables Center to Vehicle communication, Center to Field communication,Vehicle to Center communication,Field to Center communication, Field to Vehicle communication, Voice Announcement Service,Vehicle to Field communication and Vehicle to Vehicle communication.

Multimedia in Vehicle

In our Demo/Test Vehicle at our campus, we have LED based displays (developed in-house), Multimedia terminals and VoIP phone, which deliver the information to the end user. Remote video surveillance of inside-the-vehicle is possibe from a central monitoring station.

This platform brings Internet to the passengers using Wi-Fi technology. In addition to that, it also brings multimedia services to the commuters inside the bus - sports, movies, advertisements etc. Centrally controlled and Monitored, this system is fully scalable even at a national level. It operates on top of a self-healing and self-forming Mesh Network
